DVR Instructions
These instructions will work with this remote
To watch TV
Press TV button on Motorola remote
Press Cable button on Motorola remote
To turn off TV
Press TV button on Motorola remote
Press Cable button on Motorola remote
Recording
While watching program
Press record button on remote
You can turn the channel while recording but you cannot record 2 programs at the same time
To set up a future recording
- turn on tv and digital box
- press the menu button twice
- go to dvr and press ok (use arrow keys)
- got to set a recording and press ok (use arrow keys)
- select time and date (using arrow keys)
- go to confirm and press ok
- select channel via arrow keys and press ok
- confirm recording by highlighting and pressing ok
- confirm by pressing ok
Watching recorded programs
- turn on tv and digital box
- press the menu button twice
- go to dvr and press ok (use arrow keys)
- highlight my recordings and press ok
- select desired recording and press ok
- select play and press ok
- when finished press the exit button
Hints and suggestions
- Use the arrow keys to navigate the menu and also to fast forward, rewind, pause, and play your recorded programs
- You can pause any program, whether recorded or not, by using the up arrow key and use the down arrow to start to play again
- If you have no picture make sure dvr is on, tv is on, and the tv is the HDMI input
- If you mess things up, just turn everything off (by hand, not the remote) and begin again
- Play around with dvr functions to become familiar with it and to learn some shortcuts
